“ My best girl and I waited for ages for this gem to open, and we were not disappointed! The menu is unique, and the portions were generous. I ordered one of the salads and opted for additional spiced shredded chicken. It was a lot more chicken than expected and I was stuffed! Yum! My best girl tried a few custom tacos and was so pleased with the table's hot sauces that she bought one (through Amazon) before we were finished: Carolina Reaper + blueberry! Our server was top-notch, a younger guy with glasses. He was on the spot with perfect suggestions and a dash of enthusiasm. Be patient with parking. It's somewhat limited, but the turnover rate is steady. Highly recommended for those who seek out new food experiences in a beautifully decorated establishment. ”
“ My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. Owner/Host Jason and our sweet bartender/waitress (that I unfortunately forgot her name) were awesome. Outstanding customer service! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Whitefish taco and RRCC Barbacoa taco. I had the Sound Guy Sammie (see photo). Wow! It was one of the best sandwiches l've ever had. The fresh baked bolillo roll was delicious. And the Coca-cola braised beef, tequila pickled onions, applewood smoked bacon, crispy cheese, guacamole, Duke's mayo, and iceberg...insert chef kiss here. And it was so big, I get to eat the second half for supper. I highly recommend trying out Rock Taco. And you can have your meal delivered via DoorDash. We will be back. ”

Easily one of the best of the best Mexican restaurants in the Charlotte area. This place rocks hard and I give my highest recommendations. From their taco salads to their Birria - outstanding! “ It's Gotta Be Fresh! If you take a peak in the kitchen and watch the Chefs work at Rock Taco you will only see fresh ingredients and old school cooking taking place. Seriously - no bags of frozen food. Outside of the kitchen you will find a beautiful historic bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and inviting whether your in for a drink or a full meal. I highly recommend you give this downtown Rock Hill gem of a restaurant a try. You will taste the fresh and enjoy the great vibes! ”
“ We tried Rock Taco for lunch and it did not disappoint! We ordered the “Tuned Up Tuna-Rito” and the “Cheesy Chicken Dilla” & both tasted great! “ We love coming here! The empanadas are amazing! They have lots of taco options! My family likes to order 1 of each taco they think sounds good! Their mojitos are good. The service is good, atmosphere is good. Has a unique feel inside. They are located in the perfect spot if you’re just hoping around down town! I really enjoy their cauliflower tacos and corn dip. The prices seem a bit high but that’s probably because of its location. The bathrooms aren’t great but that’s because there’s just 2 single unisex bathrooms. Depending on what table you are seated at, you may have ample room for food or you may be crammed. The bar is nice to sit at. We hardly ever have a wait time but when we do, we just wait at the bar and get a drink or 2. Service is great. Food is tasty. ”
